Women’s Fly Fishing School – Beginner 1
Come join Sarah Clark of The River’s Edge for a fun day of learning the basics of fly fishing in a women’s only environment. This one-day class will include both indoor and outdoor instruction and will cover topics such as: equipment selection, basic entomology, fly selection, need-to-know knots, casting instruction and fly shop layout. Each participant will receive a booklet containing information on the topics covered. The class is designed for the beginner angler, but is also a great refresher for the intermediate angler.

Women’s Fly Fishing School – Intermediate
Take your fly fishing skills to the next level with Sarah Clark of The River’s Edge. This intermediate level, streamside class will include topics such as: reading water, practical entomology, casting techniques, and hands-on rigging and fishing time. For ladies who took the beginner course or just want to take their fishing knowledge to the next level in a small group setting, this is a great class. Participants will need to have some of their own gear for this day out on the river. This includes rod/reel, waders/boots, some leader and flies, nippers/hemostats, sunglasses, and appropriate clothing. *River’s Edge has rental rods and waders/boots available for use for participants if needed.

Fly fishing can be an overwhelming and intimidating sport to try to learn on your own. This 5-hour class will give you the need-to-know information to get started off on the right foot. Class will include both indoor and outdoor instruction and will cover topics such as: basic entomology, casting instruction, knots, tackle and fly selection, and local fishing access points. Each participant will receive a booklet containing information on the topics covered. The class is designed for the beginner angler.

Rowing a drift boat is a fun and rewarding skill that opens up endless miles of waters to fish. Yet without proper training, it can also be dangerous and difficult to master. Even experienced rowers can get into trouble without the proper knowledge and skills. This course is designed for boat owners, prospective boat owners, and those interested in learning to row a drift boat better and safer. This class aims to increase your rowing skills and confidence to enhance your overall drift boat fishing experience. Drift Boat Basics is an “on the water” course and is taught by a licensed fly fishing guide. This class can be tailored to participants needs, and topics include:
