The
Gallatin River
The
Gallatin River is located just west of Bozeman and is known for it’s
abundance of fish and it’s unbelievable scenery. Starting
about 70 miles south of Bozeman and flowing North following U.S. Highway
191 most of its length, the Gallatin has easy access and is a great choice
for wade fishing all year long.

The warm weather of the past couple days has brought the river up and pumped a little mud into it as. But a cool might or two is all it will take to bring it back into prime shape for some dry fly caddis fishing. Recommended Fly Patterns Nymphs:
San Juan Worm, Rubberlegs, Girdle Bugs
