Current Conditions & Fishing Strategy 01/27/2011
We have recently had some great dry fly fishing reports from the Lower Madison, expecially in the mornings before the wind picks up. There have been pockets of Midges on the surface and the fish seem to be looking for them. Also, dead drifting small beadhead nymphs and San Juan Worms under an indicator seems to be very productive.
