Come join Sarah Shelley of The River's Edge for a fun day of learning the basics of fly fishing in a women's only environment. This one-day class will include both indoor and outdoor instruction and will cover topics such as: equipment selection, basic entomology, fly selection, need-to-know knots, casting instruction and skills building. Each participant will receive a booklet containing information on the topics covered. The class is designed for the beginner angler, but is also a great refresher for the intermediate angler as well. Space is limited so early registration is recommended. These classes will meet at 9:00 AM at The River's Edge and will conclude by 4:00 PM back at the shop.

June 11th, 2011 - Fly Fishing School for Beginners

This is a basic fly fishing school for those of you who have never picked up a fly rod before or do not have much experience. This class will cover fly fishing basics such as equipment selection, basic entomology, fly selection, basic knots and fly casting instruction. We will start the morning in a classroom setting and then move outside, weather permitting, for the afternoon. Each participant will receive a booklet containing the information coverd in the class. These classes will meet at 9:00 AM at The River's Edge and will conclude by 4:00 PM back at the shop.
Cost - $25.00
