Known as a classic Montana tailwater, the Missouri River below Holter dam is located 2 hours north of Bozeman and is one of the most prolific trout fisheries found anywhere. Often compared to a spring creek on steroids, the Missouri River offers every type of challenge any angler could desire. From selective dry fly fishing or nymphing to fast-and-furious streamer fishing, the Missouri has it all. Due to the distance from Bozeman, our Missouri River guide trips are longer days and only available as our Deluxe Guide Trip.
